Rodolfo Villela Marino is a member of a storied Brazilian banking dynasty.

He is a grandson of Eudoro Libânio Villela, who cofounded Brazilian bank Itau in 1945; it merged with Unibanco in 2008.

Rodolfo Villela Marino sits on the board and serves executive vice president of Itausa, the parent of Itau Unibanco.

His mother, Maria de Lourdes Egydio Villela, a former billionaire, transferred her shares of Itausa to Rodolfo and his brother Ricardo.

He has a degree in business and a doctorate in management from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV) in São Paulo.
