Biography

Sami Mnaymneh is cofounder, CEO and co-executive chairman of H.I.G. Capital, a private equity firm with $70 billion under management.

Mnaymneh launched H.I.G. in 1993 with Tony Tamer and the duo became known for being the masters of middle-market deals.

In addition to operations in Europe and Latin America, H.I.G. has a large credit business.

Prior to starting H.I.G., Mnaymneh was a managing director at Blackstone and a vice president of mergers and acquisitions at Morgan Stanley.
