Biography
Sergey Lomakin cofounded Russian discount retailer Fix Price in 2007 together with Artem Khachatryan.
The chain has opened more than 4,000 stores in Russia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Belarus, Latvia, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
Lomakin serves as chairman of the company, which went public in 2021.
His cofounder, Khachatryan, is also a billionaire.
In December 2023 Lomakin bought nearly all of Khachatryan's stake in company for $990 million.
