Biography

Palantir's chief technology officer, Sankar has worked with the company in various positions since 2006. When he joined the company, he was its 13th employee.

In June 2025, Sankar was one of four tech executives to join the U.S. Army Reserves' Executive Innovation Corps.

Sankar serves on the board of Gingko Bioworks, a biotech company working on genetically engineered bacteria.

He is also a trustee of the Hudson Institute, a right-leaning think tank based in Washington, D.C.

Sankar's wife, Pooja, worked as a software developer at Oracle, Kosmix and Facebook, before starting Piazza, a classroom discussion software.
