Biography

Smita Crishna-Godrej hails from the storied Godrej clan and controls the Godrej Enterprises Group, along with her brother Jamshyd Godrej.

In 2024, the siblings and their cousins Adi and Nadir Godrej divided the family's business empire into two separate business groups.

The flagship of the Godrej Enterprises Group is privately held consumer goods giant Godrej & Boyce, which makes everything from locks to refrigerators.

Their biggest asset is a 3,400-acre land parcel in suburban Mumbai.

While Jamshyd Godrej is chairperson of the newly carved group, her daughter Nyrika Holkar is tipped to succeed him.
