Biography
Sophie Luise Fielmann is the daughter of Guenther Fielmann, the founder of Fielmann Group AG.
Together with her brother Marc, who heads the company as CEO after the death of their father in 2023, she is the majority shareholder of the company.
Fielmann is one of the biggest optician chains across Europe with revenues of more than EUR 2 billion.
Some 24,000 people work for Fielmann across more than 1,000 locations.
Her father Guenther openend the first store in Cuxhaven in 1972.
