Biography
Steven Meisel is a cofounder and managing partner of FG1 Capital, a Dallas, Texas-based private equity firm.
Meisel is also a major investor in Fermi America, an Amarillo, Texas-based data center real estate investment trust, with an 8.5% stake.
Fermi was founded in January 2025 and went public nine months later on the Nasdaq at a $12.5 billion valuation.
Fermi is planning to build an 11-gigawatt energy and data center campus on a 5,236-acre site in Amarillo, Texas.
Meisel is also a senior advisor for the Canadian Pension Plan's sustainable energies group and serves on the board of Denver-based energy infrastructure firm Tallgrass Energy.
