Sylvia Wedemeyer

Sylvia Wedemeyer is a shareholder of Cordes & Graefe, the parent company of the GC Group, a wholesaler that covers a wide range of products for plumbing and HVAC systems.

Founded in 1921 as a pipe and tube trading company, Cordes & Graefe formed the GC Group in 1975 through a series of acquisitions.

Today the company is one of the largest wholesalers in the industry with $17 billion in sales (2023).

The company is 100% owned by the Hollweg family. Sylvia Wedemeyer is the daughter of longtime company leader Uwe Hollweg who died in December 2024.
