Biography
Takahisa Takahara is president and CEO of Tokyo-listed Unicharm, a maker of personal care products, which his late father Keiichiro founded in 1961.
Unicharm makes MamyPoko brand diapers, sanitary napkins, face masks, alcohol-based wipes and other personal care goods.
Two-thirds of Unicharm's nearly $7 billion annual revenue comes from outside of Japan, mainly from other Asian countries.
Takahara's father Keiichiro died in October 2018.
