Valery Kustov

Valery Kustov is the founder of EFKO, one of the largest Russian food companies with annual sales about $4 billion.

Kustov, along with partners, took control of a small perfume and essential oil producer during privatization in Russia in the 1990s, later rebranding the business to produce sunflower oil and mayonnaise.

EFKO now produces industrial fats, egg products, sunflower oil, sauces, soap and biotechnology products like sweet proteins.

In 2025 EFKO bought former oil-seed assets of US food company Bunge in Russia.
