Biography
Vince McMahon grew World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) from a regional operation into a global phenomenon.
A third-generation wrestling promoter, McMahon grew up in a trailer park in North Carolina and joined his father's small wrestling company in 1972.
He purchased the business 10 years later and turned it into a giant. He took WWE (then named WWF) public in 1999.
In 2023, McMahon agreed to merge WWE with UFC to form TKO Group Holdings.
He stepped down as executive chairman of TKO in 2024 amid sexual misconduct allegations, which he has denied.

Donald Trump picked McMahon's wife, Linda, to lead the Small Business Administration during his first term and to run the Department of Education in his second term.
McMahon's daughter, Stephanie, is married to professional wrestler Paul Levesque, better known as Triple H. She resigned as WWE's chief brand officer in 2023.
