Vinod Rai Gupta draws her fortune from her holding in listed flagship Havells India.
The company, which is run by her son Anil, makes everything from electrical and lighting fixtures to fans, refrigerators and washing machines.
Havells was founded by Gupta's late husband Qimat Rai Gupta in 1958 as an electricals trading business.
The company has 15 factories and sells in more than 70 countries.
In 2024, Havells expanded its product range by launching built-in kitchen appliances such as cooking stoves and chimneys.
