Biography
Vladislav Sviblov derives his fortune from Bering Metals, which holds a portfolio of gold mining assets.
In 2020 Sviblov purchased Highland Gold Mining from fellow billionaire Roman Abramovich and his partners.
The next year his Highland Gold acquired Kamchatka Gold from another Russian billionaire, Viktor Vekselberg, and other shareholders.
In 2022 Sviblov bought the Russian assets of Canada's Kinross Gold for $340 million. The market value of these assets exceeded $1.5 billion, according to the Russian press.
Sviblov is a former executive of the PIK Group, the largest real estate developer in Russia controlled by billionaire Sergei Gordeev.
