Wang Junlin & family

Wang Junlin is the chairman of Sichuan Langjiu, a smaller competitor to the state-run Kweichow Moutai that makes the fiery Baijiu liquor.

The company sells its potent spirits -- whose alcohol by volume (ABV) can top 50% -- under the Lang brand.

The brand is named after its place of origin, the town of Er Lang in western China's Sichuan Province.

The company says it has 20,000 employees and more than $2.8 billion in annual sales.

Wang's son, Wang Bowei, is the firm's CEO.
