Biography

Wu Xiangdong is founder and chairman of liquor maker ZJLD Group, best known for its colorless spirits (baijiu) in China.

The company's Hong Kong IPO in 2023 valued it at $4.5 billion.

Wu also chairs Vats, a liquor store chain in China.

Vats is headquartered in Beijing and listed at the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2019.

Wu also started Jinliufu, a well-known baijiu brand in the country, more than 20 years ago.
