Biography

Wu Yajun draws the bulk of her wealth from a stake in Hong Kong-listed real estate developer Longfor Group Holdings. She stepped down as chairman in 2022.

She and her ex-husband Cai Kui, who cofounded Longfor with her in 1993, divorced in 2012. He no longer has a role in the company.

Wu, who holds a degree in engineering, worked as a journalist before entering the real estate business.
