Real estate developer Xiong Xuqiang founded his current flagship business Yinyi Real Estate after turning around a money-losing canned food factory.

Xiong also owns a stake in semiconductor materials maker Ningbo Kangqiang Electronics.

Xiong is a former top Communist Party official in the eastern China city of Ningbo where Yinyi Real Estate is headquartered.
