Biography

Xu Gaoming is the founder and chairman of Chinese jewelry maker Laopu Gold.

Dubbed by consumers as "Hermes of gold jewelry," the luxury brand features traditional Chinese design and craftsmanship.

Xu worked with a local fishery bureau and a tourism investment firm before officially launching Laopu in 2016.

He took the company public on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2024. His son, Xu Dongbo, is also a major shareholder.
