Biography

Yao Liangsong is the chairman of Guangzhou-headquartered Oppein Home Group, one of China's largest makers of custom kitchen cabinets and home furniture.

Yao set up Oppein in 1994, which has prospered amid a rise in home ownership and growth in the middle class.

The company has opened 7,400 stores in more than 100 countries.

His brother Yao Liangbo is a director at Oppein.
