Biography

Zhang Jianhui is the chairman and CEO of energy storage firm Beijing HyperStrong Technology.

He took the firm public in Shanghai in January 2025, raising 860 million yuan ($121 million).

Before founding HyperStrong in 2011, Zhang worked for the National Semiconductor Corporation in the U.S. and Siemens in China.

His wife, Xu Rui, is a company vice manager.
