Biography
Zhang Lei is the founder and CEO of Hillhouse Capital Management, a global investment firm based in Singapore.
Zhang obtained an MBA and M.A. in international relations from Yale University.
Zhang holds a B.A. from Renmin University in Beijing, where he is vice chairman of the board of trustees; and earned an MBA and M.A. from Yale University.
During his time at Yale, he worked for the Yale Investment Office which manages the university's endowment funds.
