Biography
Zhang Xingang is the chairman and CEO of Shanghai-listed semiconductor maker Yuanjie Semiconductor Technology.
He founded the company in 2013, and took it public almost a decade later in 2022, raising $219 million.
Zhang, a U.S. citizen, worked as a researcher for fiber optic components maker Luminent and telecommunications product company Source Photonics before striking out on his own.
The company plans to list its shares in Hong Kong as well.
