Biography

Zhang Xinghai is founder of Seres Group, a manufacturer of passenger and commercial vehicles and auto parts.

Zhang started the company in 2007 as an auto parts business.

Sokon went public at the Shanghai Stock Exchange in June 2016, lifting Zhang into the ranks of the world's billionaires.

His son and apparent-apparent, Zhang Zhengping, succeeded him as chairman in 2020.
